Automatic gate questions
Can you add an opener to my existing gate?
Often, yes. The gate has to swing or slide freely and the posts have to be solid. We check both at the estimate and tell you if the gate needs work first.
What happens if the power goes out?
Gate openers have a manual release so the gate can still be opened by hand. Many can also run on a battery backup. We will go through the options with you.
Swing gate or sliding gate?
A swing gate needs clear space to open and fairly level ground. A sliding gate runs along the fence line, so it suits short or sloped driveways. We look at your entry and recommend one.
