Aluminum & ornamental

Where aluminum fencing shines

Aluminum gives you the classic wrought-iron look, those clean vertical bars, without the heavy upkeep or the rust that real iron brings. It is light, it is strong, and it comes in black, bronze and other finishes.

Like any fence, aluminum lives or dies on the posts. We set them below the frost line in concrete and line up every panel so the runs are straight and the gates swing true.

  • Dresses up a front yard or garden
  • Works around a pool while staying open
  • Steps down a sloped yard cleanly

How we build

Why our fences don’t lean after the first winter

Connecticut ground freezes deep every winter and thaws every spring. That cycle pushes shallow posts up and out of line — so we dig below it.

  • Dug below the frost line

Post holes go about 42 inches deep, past the soil that freezes.

  • Concrete footings that shed water

Crowned at the top so rain runs off instead of pooling at the post.

  • Strung, leveled, measured

String lines and levels on every run, so lines stay straight and tops stay even.

  • Tested before we leave

Gates swing and latch, and we walk the line with you before we call it done.

Cost

What moves the price of an aluminum fence

Every job is different, so we give you an exact price up front, and you approve it before any work starts.

  • Total fence length and the panel height and style you choose
  • The finish you pick, like black or bronze
  • Pool-code gates that need to self-close and self-latch
  • Sloped yards, since the panels step down the grade in stages
  • Digging conditions like rocky ground, which we check at your free estimate

FAQ

Aluminum fence questions

  • Is aluminum fencing as strong as wrought iron?

For a home fence, yes, and it has a big advantage: aluminum does not rust. Real wrought iron is heavier but needs constant upkeep to fight rust. For most yards aluminum is the smarter pick.

  • Can aluminum fencing go around a pool?

Yes, it is one of the best choices for a pool. It stays open so it does not block the view, and we build it to meet pool-barrier safety rules, including self-closing and self-latching gates.

  • Does aluminum fencing work on a sloped yard?

It does, better than most fences. The panels can step down a slope in clean stages so the fence follows the grade without big gaps. We map the slope at your free estimate and plan each step.
